Document production · Berlin

Document production for agencies and companies.

I take on complex, revision-heavy documents—from typesetting to print-ready files.

For ongoing production, clearly defined work packages and additional workload during peak periods.

01 · Services

Three production areas.

I step in when the concept, design or translation is already in place and reliable execution is needed.

Annual & financial reports

Typesetting and final artwork for long reports in InDesign: tables, charts, footnotes, tables of contents, German and English editions, and documented revision rounds.

Delivery: packaged production files, print-ready PDF and web PDF to specification.

Prepress & print production

Checking and correcting supplied artwork: colour spaces and profiles, spot colours, bleed, overprint, fonts, image resolution and printer specifications.

Delivery: print-ready PDF/X with a documented preflight result.

Multilingual DTP

Layout adaptation based on supplied, approved translations. Text overflow, line breaks, tables and typographic deviations are corrected while preserving the original design system.

Translation and linguistic review are not included. Production is based on approved content.

02 · Process

Clear coordination. Clean handover.

Questions, revisions and approvals are part of every assignment. Coordination is primarily handled in writing, with feedback consolidated and decisions documented.

  1. 01
    Check the input

Source files, scope, specifications, language versions and timing are reviewed before production begins.

  2. 02
    Confirm the assignment

Open points, scope, delivery formats and schedule are clarified and recorded in writing.

  3. 03
    Produce

Typesetting, revision rounds and versions are managed transparently. Existing style guides and approval processes remain in place.

  4. 04
    Deliver cleanly

You receive the agreed files, a concise handover note and, for print data, the technical preflight status.
